Nexus-class data center switches to provide virtual and physical server connectivity optimized by VN-Link

Fabric-extender technology
High-density 10 GB ethernet with fibre channel over ethernet or unified fabric
Overlay transport virtualization enables the same L2 domain with L3 protection in two different data centers, which provides the ability to seamlessly provision or move any resource in the data center

Unified computing system (UCS)

Single interface to manage the compute, LAN, and SAN for an entire system up to 320 blades
Stateless computing takes the identity away from the server and manages it from the UCS manager to make provisioning and mobility much more elastic
Memory extender technology is the ability to have a server with four times the memory footprint (384 GB at full speed)
Virtualized adapter (Palo) is a converged network adapter that allows up to 128 virtual NICs or HBAs in Hardware.
